Sikh Cast Ep36 - "I cannot live without All-Pervasive for even a moment or an instant" (Sabad of the week)

I glorify All-Pervasive’s Nam¹ every day.
I was imparted All-Pervasive’s Nam by the Eternal Guru,
I cannot live without All-Pervasive for even a moment or an instant.  1. Reflect.

I listen and remember All-Pervasive’s glory.
I cannot live without All-Pervasive for even a moment.

As the swan cannot live without the pond,
Similarly All-Pervasive’s servant cannot live without All-Pervasive’s service.  1.

Some develop love in their hearts for other loves,
Some develop love for attachment and pride.
All-Pervasive’s servants develop love for All-Pervasive’s Freedom-state.
O! Nanak, they remember the Divine: All-Pervasive! All-Pervasive! 2.

ਜੈਸੇ ਹੰਸੁ ਸਰਵਰ ਬਿਨ ਹਰ ਨ ਸਕੇ ਤੈਸੇ ਹਰਿ ਜਾਣੂ ਕਿਉ ਰਹੇ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਵਾ ਬਿਨੁ ||੧||
ਕਿਨਹੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਲਾਈ ਦੂਜਾ ਭਾਉ ਰਿਦ ਧਾਰ ਕਿਨਹੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਲਾਈ ਮੋਹ ਅਪਮਾਨ ||
ਹਰਿ ਜਾਨ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਲਾਈ ਹਰਿ ਨਿਰਬਾਣ ਪੱਦ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਹਰ ਹਰ ਭਗਵਾਨ ||੨||੧੪||੬੬||

Sabad is Infinite; we are very finite. This is our understanding at the moment, which was different yesterday and may evolve tomorrow, as we deepen our relationship with the Sabad. In this trans-creation, we have chosen to keep the repeating words in the Sabad same. We aspire to learn and retain the Divine attribute as used in the original Sabad and avoid terms like God or Lord.
