O! All-Pervasive, O! Earth-Force, O! Destroyer of sorrow,
Bestow Nam to Your votary who has come to Your humble sanctuary. 
O! Divine! Glance at me, graciously save me,grab my arm, and pull me out of the well. Reflect.
Blinded by lust and anger, caught in deception,Numerous vices have totally covered body. 
Without the Divine there is no other Protector,O! Sanctuary-Warrior, help me remember Nam. 1.
Uplifter of fallen, Saviour of beings,even the Veda* readers don’t know Your limits.
O! Ocean of Virtues and Comfort, O! Jewel-Mine Supreme Cosmic,Nanak sings recognizing the devotee’s Lover.  2.

In four directions extends Own strengthand places the Hand on the head.Glance of grace bestowed, votary’s pain ended.  1.
All-Pervasive, Guru the Earth-Force, protected the servants.Compassionate, forgiving Being embracesand erases all vices. Reflect.
Whatever is asked from the Ruler, that’s what is given.Whatever Nanak the votary utters from mouth,becomes eternal here and there.  2.

Sikh Cast Ep29 - "Everywhere I go, Bithal is present" (Sabad of the week)

Bring a pitcher and fill it with water for bathing the deity.But 4.2 million creatures live in the water (according to Hindu scriptures) —How can Bithal* exist there?  1.
Everywhere I go, Bithal is present,Always enjoying great bliss and play.  1. Reflect
Bring flowers and string a garland for worshipping the deity.But the bumble-bee has already taken the fragrance—How can Bithal exist there?  2.
Bring milk and cook pudding for an edible offering to the deity.But the calf has already contaminated the milk—How can Bithal exist there?  3.
Here Bithal, there Bithal—There is no world without Bithal.Namdev submits: You are totally permeating the Universe—all spaces and interspaces.  4.

 *Deity in Jain and Vaishnav tradition but All-Pervasive for Bhagat Namdev.
Note: Interplay happening between Bithal and the deity. The religious world wants to always maintain the purity for their deity, but Namdev says the Divine is everywhere, so every space is pure.

Sikh Cast Ep27 - ”Perfect Guru instilled All-Pervasive’s Nam-without Nam life is pointless” (Sabad of the week)

When Guru’s hand was placed on my forehead,
All-Pervasive’s jewel-like Nam came to reside in my heart.
Through Guru’s gift of Nam, many life-times
of evilest pain and debt were removed.  1.
 
My mind recites Charmer-Divine’s Nam, the source of all wealth.
Perfect Guru instilled All-Pervasive’s Nam—without Nam life is pointless.  Reflect.
 
Without Guru, the self-centered are foolish,
Every day remain trapped in illusion.
Never serving at the feet of Goodness,
Entire lives become worthless.  2. 
 
Those serving at the feet-base of Goodness-Guru
become Master’s own and lives become fruitful.
O Master of the Universe, All-Pervasive, grace me
to be the votary of the votary of Your votaries.  3.
 
We are blind, wisdom-less, unwise… How can we walk the Path?
O Guru, grant us the blind ones, Your hem so commoner Nanak

If You were the beautiful mountain, I would become the peacock. If You were the moon, I would become the chakor*. 1. O Master-Illusionist! If You won’t break with me, I won’t break with You.For, if I break with You, with whom would I join? 1. Reflect.If You were the beautiful lamp, I would become the wick.If You were the pilgrimage, I would become the pilgrim. 2.I am joined to You in Eternal Love.I have joined with You, broken off with others. 3.  I serve You, wherever I go. All vegetation contains fire, all milk contains clarified butter.
In high and low the Light abides, in every being’s heart is Master-Illusionist. 1.
 
O! True Congregation, in each and every heart abides ‘The One.’

Sikh Cast Ep23 - "Day and night I ask for Nam within" (Sabad of the week)

When All-Pervasive’s Love penetrates the inside and the mind,then one cannot live without the All-Pervasive.As the fish perishes without water, so does one die without Nam. 1.
My Divine, grace me with the water of All-Pervasive’s glory.Day and night I ask for Nam within. Through Nam serenity is attained. Reflect.
As the Chatrik pleads for the rain-drop, for without the rain-drop,its thirst cannot be quenched.Become Guru-oriented to receive the water of bliss naturally,then blossom through supreme Love. 2.
Self-oriented are hungry, wander in ten directions.Without Nam experience the agony.Born, dead, then born again,they are reprimanded in the dwelling place. 3.
When Graced, then All-Pervasive’s virtues are sung,All-Pervasive’s flavors are experienced within.Nanak: When on the meek the Compassion occurs,then Sabad quenches desires. 4.

*Pied Crested Cuckoo bird. Poets describe this bird as being unwilling to drink the water found on earth. It will only drink rain water as it drops from the skies. 
ਸੋਰਠਿ ਮਹਲਾ ੪ ॥ਹਰਿ ਸਿਉ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਅੰਤਰੁ ਮਨੁ ਬੇਧਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਬਿਨੁ ਰਹਣੁ ਨ ਜਾਈ॥ਜਿਉ ਮਛੁਲੀ ਬਿਨੁ ਨੀਰੈ ਬਿਨਸੈ ਤਿਉ ਨਾਮੈ ਬਿਨੁ ਮਰਿ ਜਾਈ ॥੧॥ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਜਲੁ ਦੇਵਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਈ॥ਹਉ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੰਗਾ ਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਤੀ ਨਾਮੇ ਹੀ ਸਾਂਤਿ ਪਾਈ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ॥ਜਿਉ ਚਾਤ੍ਰਿਕੁ ਜਲ ਬਿਨੁ ਬਿਲਲਾਵੈ ਬਿਨੁ ਜਲ ਪਿਆਸ ਨ ਜਾਈ॥ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਜਲੁ ਪਾਵੈ ਸੁਖ ਸਹਜੇ ਹਰਿਆ ਭਾਇ ਸੁਭਾਈ ॥੨॥ਮਨਮੁਖ ਭੂਖੇ ਦਹ ਦਿਸ ਡੋਲਹਿ ਬਿਨੁ ਨਾਵੈ ਦੁਖੁ ਪਾਈ॥ਜਨਮਿ ਮਰੈ ਫਿਰਿ ਜੋਨੀ ਆਵੈ ਦਰਗਹਿ ਮਿਲੈ ਸਜਾਈ ॥੩॥ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰਹਿ ਤਾ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਹ ਹਰਿ ਰਸੁ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਪਾਈ॥ਨਾਨਕ ਦੀਨ ਦਇਆਲ ਭਏ ਹੈ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਸਬਦਿ ਬੁਝਾਈ ॥੪॥੮॥
Sabad is Infinite; we are very finite. This is our understanding at the moment, which was different yesterday and may evolve tomorrow, as we deepen our relationship with the Sabad. In this trans-creation, we have chosen to keep the repeating words in the Sabad same. We aspire to learn and retain the Divine attribute as used in the original Sabad and avoid terms like God or Lord.

Heart found the Beloved’s words sweet,and the walk began to feel great.Even if hunch-backed or short is liked by the Ruler,in humility, now the beautiful meets the All-Pervasive. 1.
There is One Beloved. The rest are all Beloved’s friends;Great is the one liked by the Beloved.What can humble helpless Nanak do?The one whom the All-Pervasive likes walks on the path. 2.2.
